What does Cocoyaya mean?
When Erik was learning to talk, for his Grandpa Michael he could only say "Coco". For his Grandma Laura he would say "Yaya". Thus Coco Mike and Coco Yaya became the name for the grandparents of Erik, Celeste and Alex to whom they dedicate all of their love and this restaurant. We want to welcome you as if you were visiting Coco Yaya's kitchen.

Enjoy!
From our family to your family.

See what others have to say
The ingredients are fresh. The attention to detail is inspiring. The prices are very good. And best of all, the food is incredible.
It's the best salsa I've had in Tucson, and that's saying something.
Would we try Cocoyaya again? Yes, we like it! Should you try it? Yes!
